We are seeking a proactive and experienced Facilities Manager to oversee the day-to-day facility management operations and lead strategic initiatives that ensure a safe, efficient, and well-maintained working environment. This role covers a broad scope including cleaning, security, maintenance, space management, renovations, and compliance with health and safety standards.
Job Responsibility:
Oversee and manage suppliers for both hard and soft services to maintain the company’s premises at the highest standards
Build and nurture strong relationships with vendors and contractors, ensuring quality service delivery
Monitor service performance through KPIs, driving continuous improvement and maintaining exceptional service standards
Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies to ensure business continuity
Conduct regular site inspections to identify and implement necessary improvements
Lead large-scale facilities projects, managing contractors to meet deadlines and quality expectations
Define business requirements and support tendering processes in line with BMW Group purchasing policies
Manage purchasing of general office equipment, furnishings, and consumables
Address colleague queries related to access, equipment, Display Screen Equipment (DSE), and health and safety concerns
Provide regular reports to senior management on facilities performance, costs, and improvement plans
Requirements:
Degree level qualification or relevant experience required
Proven work and leadership experience in facilities management
Strong experience managing multiple facilities simultaneously, including planning, managing, and executing facilities projects such as showroom refits
Demonstrable project management experience, with the ability to lead and deliver complex facilities projects on time and within budget
Experience in managing contractors and service contracts effectively
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
Ability to coordinate multiple issues simultaneously and work under pressure
Flexibility to work and travel across two central London sites
