Job Description:

The Facilities Associate II is responsible for supporting and assisting the Director of Facilities. This position will be responsible for ensuring all areas of the facility are in working order and clean. Priorities include equipment maintenance, troubleshooting equipment, and other duties necessary to maintain a reliable & safe environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Check & review daily emails and communications
  • Attend “Daily Directional Meetings” to set daily priorities and direction
  • Ensure that the maintenance shop is kept in a clean and orderly fashion
  • Responsible for filter changes in the roof top units “RTU’s” as scheduled
  • Responsible for performing preventive maintenance tasks on all building support systems
  • “HVAC, Water, & Compressed air systems”
  • Be able to use a multi meter to check & measure voltage, amps, & resistance
  • Have basic HVAC knowledge
  • Have basic electrical knowledge
  • Promoting a respectful work environment in daily actions with fellow employees and job tasks as the #1 priority
  • Monitor greenhouse schedules and conduct required tasks when harvesting is conducted
  • Follow all procedures according to local and state regulations and company policies
  • Maintaining operational excellence at all workstations/areas
  • Ensure that all safety protocols and procedures are followed
  • Adapt to all changes in business needs and procedures
  • Follow reasonable instructions from leadership team showing flexibility with all delegated tasks
  • Contribute to team morale by ensuring the highest level of engagement is consistently applied
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Mechanical/high speed production packaging equipment experience
  • HVAC, electrical, plumbing and 277vac lighting experience
  • Must be able to respond to emergency calls
  • Work at least 1 day on the weekend (Sun-Wed or Wed-Sat)
  • Cannabis industry experience, 1+ years (preferred)
  • Advanced communication, math, organizational, and computer skills
