Facilities Administrator/Receptionist - Part time. Either 8am-1pm or 1pm-6pm. Wokingham. Job description is not exhaustive and day to day duties may fall outside of the role listed above.
Job Responsibility:
Provide a warm, professional welcome to all visitors and staff
Manage the visitor management system, including check-in procedures and badge issuance
Handle incoming calls, routing them appropriately and taking messages when necessary
Process incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries
Coordinate meeting room bookings and prepare conference facilities
Support basic administrative tasks as needed
Maintain the reception area in a neat, organized, and presentable condition
Monitor building access and security systems during reception hours
Client contract support / administrative duties
Support internal communications as directed by management
Assist with basic IT troubleshooting for meeting rooms and reception equipment
Raise purchase orders
Requirements:
Previous experience (2+ years) in reception roles
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Customer service orientation
Computer literacy including Microsoft Office applications
Good problem-solving skills and practical approach to challenges
Experience with visitor management systems (advantageous)
Relevant certifications in health and safety or technical areas (advantageous)
Flexibility to cover full time reception when required
