Job Description:

McMullen Facades, part of the JRL Group, is a leading manufacturer of architectural facades for prestigious projects across the UK and Ireland. With a reputation for excellence and innovation, we specialize in delivering high-quality facade solutions that enhance the aesthetic and performance of buildings. As we continue to grow and expand our operations, we are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as General Operatives in our facade factory.

Job Responsibility:

  • Fabricate various components of building facades according to project specifications and drawings
  • Operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently to cut, shape, and assemble facade materials, such as glass, metal, and composite panels
  • Interpret technical drawings and plans to ensure accuracy and quality throughout the fabrication process
  • Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and maintain workflow efficiency
  • Conduct quality inspections to identify and rectify any defects or discrepancies in fabricated components
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding safety protocols, material handling, and equipment maintenance

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in façade fabrication or a related field, with a strong understanding of assembling complex components such as Balconies, Cladding or balustrades construction materials and techniques
  • Proficiency in using fabrication machinery and tools, such as CNC machines, saws, drills, and routers
  • Ability to Interpret technical drawings and plans to ensure accuracy and quality or experience in a quality related role
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality workmanship
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and supervisors
  • Willingness to adhere to safety guidelines and regulations to maintain a secure working environment
  • Experience with waterproofing systems
