Job Description:

Food and Beverage Assistants are key members of the team at LaplandUK as they are the face of Lapland while guests are in our cafes and restaurants. The role is a great opportunity for enthusiastic guest focused individuals to join a friendly team in a fast paced and collaborative environment. Based at our Ascot event site the F&B Assistants will be responsible for engaging with families and serving them with delicious food and drinks which are a key part of the Lapland experience.

Job Responsibility:

  • Consistently meet and exceed customers’ expectations, by welcoming guests into our cafes and restaurants and engaging with the families while following the Lapland operating procedures and sequence of service
  • Consistently follow Food Hygiene processes when preparing and presenting food and drinks
  • Immerse yourself in the Lapland narrative
  • Have a thorough knowledge of all the products in the F&B outlets and have the ability to make appropriate recommendations to the guests
  • Follow all relevant costume and process standards
  • Attend any training as required

Requirements:

  • Enthusiastic and willing to learn and be part of Lapland
  • Bright and articulate - Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Minimum commitment of 3 shifts per week
  • Customer Facing Role Requirements: Remove all piercings (no clear replacements)
  • Have Natural hair colour and have all long hair in plaits
  • Arrive on shift with a base layer of natural appearing make-up, no false eye lashes and no false or painted nails
  • Have all tattoos covered
  • All jewellery to be removed (Including accessories like tooth gems etc) with the exception of wedding or engagement rings
  • Leave all watches, including smart watches and phones securely in your locker
