Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Engineering or related field
3+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment
Prior experience with electrical panel wiring, PLC wiring, harness manufacturing, electrification panel wiring
Prior experience with mechanical assembly processes, methods and tooling (motor gearbox assembly, linear guide assembly, aluminum extrusion assembly, pneumatic assembly)
Proven experience with safety management and adherence to OSHA standards
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Lean manufacturing knowledge
Ability to work in a manufacturing environment, which may include exposure to noise, heat, and machinery
Ability to stand, walk, and move around the production floor for extended periods

Job Responsibility

Supervise and coordinate electrical and mechanical direct labor teams to ensure production schedules are met
Monitor workflow, prioritize tasks, and allocate resources effectively to achieve operational goals
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner
Enforce safety protocols and ensure adherence to OSHA and company-specific safety standards
Conduct regular safety audits, identify potential hazards, and implement corrective actions
Promote a culture of safety awareness and accountability among employees

Job Responsibility

Collaborate with customers and the sales team to design custom solutions
Create and approve customer quotes and sales orders utilizing our ERP and engineering design tools as required
Use 3D SolidWorks to design safety guard frames, pneumatic assemblies, electro-mechanical assemblies, custom components, enclosures and various mechanical assemblies
Work cross-functionally with operations to ensure purchasing and planning execution are successful
Create shop floor documentation and provide technical guidance internally and externally
Perform various stress bearing and maximum load capacity calculations
