External Manufacturing PPM and Operations Lead

• Lead the relationship management with external manufacturing partners
• Manage the implementation of new production flows and optimize existing ones
• Oversee the execution of contracts and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Manage production capacity to meet customer demands
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure on-time and in-full delivery of products
• Monitor partner performance against KPIs, and identify and implement improvements
• Lead tech transfer projects and support continuous improvement initiatives
• Collaborate effectively across departments to resolve issues and improve efficiency
• Cultivate strong HSE practices and awareness within the team and partners.

• Scientific background (Pharmacist, Scientist, Engineer etc.)
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical/biologics industry, with experience in vaccines preferred
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in manufacturing of DP/DS or manufacturing support departments (e.g., MSAT, Quality)
• Proven ability to manage complex projects and multi-functional teams
• Experience in cGMP environment, contract management, and continuous improvement principles
• Fluent in Japanese and English
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Experience in vaccines preferred.
