Job Description:

This First Line role is suited for a Coverage Banker, Transactor, or Product Specialist with expertise in Structured Trade Finance or Term Lending. Experience in Export Credit Agency (ECA) Finance or Project Finance will be a strong plus. The candidate will drive the origination, structuring, and execution of ECA-backed financings across Asia, with a strong focus on China Sinosure transactions, requiring skills in origination, client management, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement.

Job Responsibility:

Achieve quantitative and qualitative targets for the Asia ECA team
lead origination, structuring, and execution of ECA financings in various industries
own the end-to-end deal lifecycle
drive Sinosure strategy and manage relationships
optimize deal execution
develop cross-border financing pipeline
monitor and manage the Asia ECA portfolio
mitigate operational and documentation risks
act as primary liaison for Sinosure
collaborate with Bankers, Product Partners, and Underwriters
deliver training on ECA products and regulatory requirements
produce management reporting

Requirements:

Expertise in Structured Trade Finance or Term Lending
experience in Export Credit Agency (ECA) Finance or Project Finance
3-8 years of hands-on experience in ECA Finance, Project Finance, or Structured Trade
exposure to Sinosure transactions
strong structuring and credit analysis skills
experience in credit approvals, loan documentation, and structuring
client management and origination skills
familiarity with Asia Pacific Loan Market Association (APLMA) documentation
negotiation and diplomacy skills
language proficiency in English and Mandarin
willingness to travel across Asia Pacific
proactive problem-solving
highly organized
bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
master's degree is good to have
