Job Description:

Cognito Cyber Group is looking for an expert level Network Engineer to deliver tradecraft, technical, and network solutions to secure, maintain, and upgrade the Sponsor's online public portals.

Job Responsibility:

  • Deliver tradecraft, technical, and network solutions to secure, maintain, and upgrade the Sponsor's online public portals
  • Use cutting edge internet technologies and services to protect the Sponsor's public portals
  • Research, develop, maintain, and document tradecraft and tools associated with the public portal
  • Work with internal and external teams to develop, document, and implement security portal requirements for security
  • Fully describe and document mission solution architecture and interfaces

Requirements:

  • Experience with internet networking and encryption protocols
  • Detailed knowledge of how browsers interact with websites and browser security settings
  • Experience using content delivery networks and a significant understanding of how they interact with public services and websites
  • Experience using TOR and configuring and maintaining TOR Services
  • Experience using open and dark web security settings and tools to protect websites and their visitors
  • Experience analyzing cyber selector data, system logs, and network traffic
  • Experience conducting network and browser troubleshooting
  • Experience developing requirements and communicating with senior stakeholders
  • Configuring Virtual Private Servers, Virtual Private Networks, and Virtual Private Clouds
  • Social media or commercial messaging applications
  • Understanding of mobile technologies and applications
  • Troubleshooting network connectivity and performance issues
  • Network monitoring tools
  • Scripting with Python
  • Factory acceptance testing
  • Developing JavaScript/HTML/CSS web user interfaces
