Job Responsibility:
Act as an integral member of BCG’s client teams, contributing directly to strategic and operational decisions of international companies
Serve as an embedded modeling and analytics expert within client-facing case teams
Collaborate closely with client counterparts to align on analytical approaches, assumptions, and data inputs
Support case team members and project leaders in shaping decision-relevant analyses and management-ready insights
Help translate complex analyses into clear narratives for senior management, lenders, and other key stakeholders
Design, build, and maintain advanced, integrated financial and business models to support restructuring, turnaround, and transformation cases across industries
Combine financial modeling and financial data analytics to generate deeper insights into performance, liquidity, value drivers, and risk
Develop robust business planning, scenario, stress-testing, and sensitivity frameworks to support high-stakes decision-making
Apply strong corporate finance and accounting principles to ensure models are consistent, auditable, and decision-ready
Leverage modern analytics, automation, and modeling tools to increase speed, quality, and scalability of analyses
Continuously enhance analytical approaches by exploring automation, advanced analytics, and GenAI-enabled modeling solutions
Requirements:
Master’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, engineering, or a related quantitative field
Strong academic foundation in corporate finance, financial accounting, and quantitative analysis
3–4 years of experience in financial modeling, valuation, and analytics within restructuring, transformation, transaction services, or financial advisory environments (e.g., Big 4, consulting, corporate finance or restructuring advisory)
Proven experience in building integrated financial and business planning models, including scenarios and stress tests
Advanced proficiency in Excel-based financial modeling
Experience with data analytics and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
Working knowledge of VBA, Power Query, Alteryx, SQL, or Python is a strong plus
Openness to learning and applying more advanced planning and modeling platforms (e.g., Anaplan)
Strong curiosity for automation, large-scale data analytics, and GenAI-driven modeling approaches
Structured, detail-oriented, and hypothesis-driven working style
Ability to manage complexity and deliver high-quality output under time pressure
Strong communication skills and confidence in client-facing settings
Very good written and verbal communication skills in English
