Job Description:

We are currently recruiting a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join a specialist SEND school in the Crawley area. This full-time role involves supporting pupils with a range of special educational needs within a structured, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment.

Job Responsibility:

Supporting pupils both academically and emotionally, helping them to feel safe, engaged, and confident in their learning
Work closely with teachers and support staff to provide tailored classroom support
Contribute to a positive and consistent learning environment

Requirements:

Experience supporting pupils with SEND (or a strong interest in this area)
A calm, patient, and caring approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A commitment to supporting pupils’ wellbeing and progress
Right to work in the UK or hold a valid work visa
Provide suitable references for pre-employment checks
Hold an enhanced DBS on the Children’s Workforce (or Children’s & Adults’) update service, or be willing to obtain one
