Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Loader Driver to join our dedicated team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a front-end loader within our concrete batching plant. This is a hands-on role that requires a strong understanding of plant operations and a commitment to maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Operate a front-end loader to move and load raw materials (aggregates, sand, etc.) into the batching plant's hoppers
  • Monitor stock levels and ensure a consistent supply of materials to meet production demands
  • Conduct pre-start checks and routine maintenance on the loader to ensure it is in good working order
  • Assist with general plant housekeeping and maintenance as required
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures
  • Work collaboratively with the plant operator and other team members to ensure smooth operations

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a loader driver, ideally within a concrete batching plant or similar heavy industry environment
  • Valid and current Australian driver's license and relevant plant operator's license/ticket
  • A strong understanding of loader operation, safety protocols, and maintenance
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • A strong commitment to workplace health and safety
