Job Description:

To administer all aspects of public examination and certification processes and ensure that examination board procedures are followed throughout these processes. You will be required to maintain up to date records of student and assessment details, ensuring that the information kept is both accurate and confidential. You will work across the academy as required, providing excellent administrative and customer services to a variety of stakeholders, establishing and maintaining efficient administrative systems and processes to support the effective running of the school with a focus on operational excellence and to meet the current and future needs of the academy.

Job Responsibility:

  • Administer all aspects of public examination and certification processes
  • Ensure examination board procedures are followed
  • Maintain up to date records of student and assessment details
  • Provide excellent administrative and customer services
  • Establish and maintain efficient administrative systems
  • Ensure the smooth running and integrity of all exam related systems
  • Be the designated BTEC Quality Nominee
  • Organise schedules for Exam Invigilators
  • Ensure compliance with all exam board requirements
  • Provide training to individuals that carry out invigilation
  • Liaise with the facilities team
  • Liaise with Awarding Bodies for special consideration
  • Make appropriate timetabling and room arrangements
  • Create and distribute examination timetables
  • Manage the electronic download of results
  • Input and analyse data using relevant examinations software
  • Liaise with teaching staff on student choice of entry
  • Be responsible for the safekeeping of exam papers
  • Ensure accuracy of information provided to Exam Boards
  • Ensure students/parents understand appeals procedures
  • Monitor quality of invigilators
  • Provide statistical information regarding examination entries
  • Be the line manager for Invigilators
  • Source the appropriate number of invigilators
  • Manage timesheets of invigilators
  • Produce materials related to examinations
  • Populate the exams calendar
  • Work collaboratively with the admin team
  • Attend to all incoming calls and messages
  • Support with daily attendance
  • Maintain and distribute stock
  • Support with lunch till duties
  • Undertake various duties including playground duties, first aid, cashless till operation, fire marshal
  • Cater and set up meetings
  • Attend and support out-of-hours’ academy events
  • Carry out other reasonable tasks as directed
