Job Description:

Evening Local Driver position at Transport Bourassa's Lachine terminal.

Job Responsibility:

  • Perform deliveries using a flatbed trailer or a curtain-side trailer, including the safe and secure fastening of the cargo
  • Perform deliveries and pickups for various customers within the assigned territory
  • Assist, when required, with loading or unloading freight manually or using equipment (pallet jack)
  • Secure freight using straps and load bars to ensure stability and safety during transport
  • Ensure deliveries and pickups match customer orders and that freight is not damaged
  • Use a mobile device to obtain and share required information related to pickups and deliveries
  • Complete the daily inspection report after performing vehicle checks and when an issue is detected during a trip
  • Perform any other related tasks as required

Requirements:

  • Hold a Class 1 FM driver’s license
  • Road train (LCV) license (an asset)
  • Be autonomous
  • Have good organizational skills
