We are looking for a dedicated EUC Help Desk/Desktop Support Analyst to join our team in West Des Moines, Iowa. In this role, you will provide exceptional technical support and troubleshooting services to ensure smooth user operations. This is a long-term contract position ideal for professionals with a strong background in desktop support and system administration.
Job Responsibility:
Deliver Tier 3 support for end-user computing systems, ensuring timely resolution of complex technical issues
Manage user accounts and access permissions within Active Directory
Perform troubleshooting for Microsoft Windows 10 and 11 environments to resolve hardware and software problems
Respond to and resolve service desk tickets efficiently, maintaining detailed documentation of solutions
Provide technical assistance to users, addressing system functionality and application concerns
Install, configure, and maintain desktop systems and peripheral devices
Collaborate with other IT teams to escalate and resolve advanced technical issues
Conduct system updates and patches to ensure optimal performance and security
Offer guidance and training to users on system operations and best practices
Analyze recurring problems to identify root causes and implement preventive measures
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in help desk or desktop support roles
Strong knowledge of Active Directory, including user account management
Proficiency in troubleshooting Microsoft Windows 10 and 11 operating systems
Familiarity with service desk ticketing systems and workflows
Ability to provide Tier 3 technical support and resolve complex issues
Experience with installing and configuring desktop hardware and software
Excellent communication skills to assist users and document solutions
Strong analytical skills for diagnosing and preventing technical problems
