Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Estate Planning Paralegal to assist in the preparation and execution of trust documents, estate planning, and case management. The ideal candidate should possess an in-depth knowledge of the preparation and management of estate planning documents, trusts, wills, powers of attorney, health care proxies, and other ancillary estate planning documents.

Job Responsibility:

  • Draft and review estate planning documents: trust documents, wills, living wills, etc.
  • Case management and client interaction
  • Coordinate and assist in the execution of various legal papers related to estates and trusts
  • Collaborate with attorneys and clients to gather information and documentation required for the preparation of estate planning documents
  • Maintain record management, documentation, and filing systems

Requirements:

  • At least two years of paralegal experience in Estate Planning
  • Proven experience drafting estate planning documents including wills, trust documents, living wills, and more
  • Expert knowledge of legal research and ability to provide comprehensive legal administrative support
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail
  • Paralegal certificate or degree preferred
  • Excellent organizational skills for managing multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Must have a minimum of 7 years of experience in a Paralegal role, specifically within the Professional Services industry
  • Proficiency in probate, probate & estate administration, and probate law is required
  • Comprehensive knowledge of estate law, estate planning, estate tax, and estate tax return is essential
  • Demonstrated skills in proofreading legal documents
  • Degree in Law or Paralegal Studies is preferable
  • Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Must possess excellent research and report-writing skills
  • Adept at using legal research software and other related software
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Must possess a high level of professional integrity

  • Degree in Law or Paralegal Studies
  • Proficiency in probate, probate & estate administration, and probate law
  • Comprehensive knowledge of estate law, estate planning, estate tax, and estate tax return
