Job Description:

Do you follow the latest trends and developments in the area of indexing? Are you interested in working closely with clients and act in a solution-oriented and reliable way? Would you like to participate in further developing our tools for index setup, calculation, rebalance and maintenance? Do you want to help in shaping the development of this growing unit with your customer-focused and creative way of thinking? Then you will very likely fit into our team!

Job Responsibility:

  • Onboarding investable and trending index strategies in partnership with clients, ensuring complete rule documentation and data readiness
  • Coordinating and executing index rebalances across internal and external stakeholders, meeting cutoffs and SLAs
  • Implementing index relevant information into the index calculation platform
  • Being the main point of contact for your dedicated customer base regarding the rebalancing of their indices
  • Optimizing processes to ensure successful index rebalancing in collaboration with other Index Management teams
  • Further developing our business unit by managing various internal and external client projects
  • Testing and validating new features of the index calculation engine in collaboration with IT
  • contributing test cases and UAT sign-offs

Requirements:

  • Academic degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance or similar
  • At least 2 years’ experience in index operations/management, portfolio operations, etf/inav calculations or a related markets role
  • High familiarity with ETFs/index methodologies, and derivative products is a plus
  • Very good proficiency level in Microsoft Excel
  • Expertise with data vendor terminals is an advantage (e.g. FactSet, Reuters, Bloomberg is a plus)
  • Python or similar scripting experience is a plus
  • Highly motivated to work independently
  • Meticulous attention to detail, structured problem solving, and ability to work independently
  • Intercultural competence and excellent communication skills in English

Nice to have:

  • High familiarity with ETFs/index methodologies, and derivative products
  • Expertise with data vendor terminals (e.g. FactSet, Reuters, Bloomberg)
  • Python or similar scripting experience
