Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated Environmental Representative with at least 6 months of experience in performing environmental field functions within an industrial setting. The candidate will inspect and maintain the facility’s handling, storage, and disposal of waste; including managing the air, water, and dredge permits to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Responsibilities will also include the training, data collection, on-site inspections and coordination of the facility’s emergency response programs.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage the air, water, and dredge permits to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
  • Training, data collection, on-site inspections and coordination of the facility’s emergency response programs
  • Waste collection, storage, and transport (hazardous, non-hazardous, universal, industrial solid, special waste, tires, sewage/biosolids)
  • Assists facility and corporate HSE personnel in carrying out various environmental duties

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 6 months of experience in performing environmental field functions within an industrial setting
  • Capable of monitoring/controlling environmental procedures on-site
  • Proficient in using MS Office applications (MS Excel, MS Word, etc.)
  • Oracle experience a plus
