  • Managing environmental monitoring programs and coordinating with internal teams and external consultants
  • Acting as a key liaison with government agencies on permits, approvals, inspections, and reporting
  • Preparing and submitting environmental applications, reports, and regulatory documentation
  • Conducting Environmental Performance Reviews (audits) at facility locations
  • Supporting supervisors in developing and implementing corrective action plans following inspections
  • Assisting with environmental due diligence and onboarding for acquisitions
  • Monitoring emerging legislation and regulatory changes

  • Professional designation (C.E.T. or similar) is an asset
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle (travel to sites required)
  • 3+ years of experience in environmental compliance or environmental science
  • Experience managing long-term environmental monitoring programs (excess soils, groundwater, surface water)
  • Strong technical writing skills, including drafting and reviewing environmental reports
  • Experience working with stakeholders such as government agencies, consultants, and the public

Nice to have:

  • Experience with environmental permits and approvals (ECA, PTTW) is an asset
  • Familiarity with Adaptive Management Plans (AMPs), audits, or aggregates (pits and quarries) is an asset
  • Experience with compliance-based software (e.g., Dakota) is an asset
  • Relevant professional accreditations (OACETT, PGO, or equivalent) are desirable
What we offer:
  • A comprehensive total rewards package and benefits to support your wellbeing
  • Flexible work policies and strong work-life balance
  • Give back to our communities with two paid volunteer days annually and opportunities to become involved in events
