At Olsson, our Railroad Public Projects team specializes in providing staff augmentation services tailored for our railroad clients. Our expertise assists road authorities in effectively managing a variety of projects, including roadway widenings, closures, trails, structures, and the implementation of quiet zones. Job Responsibility:

  • Facilitating the coordination of public projects for railroad clients
  • Project management services
  • Collaboration with various government agency project sponsors
  • Overseeing project assignments from inception to completion
  • Ensuring timely reporting and effective communication with rail clients
  • Occasional travel to job sites for observation and to attend client meetings

Requirements:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to contribute and work well on a team
  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
  • Engineer Intern (EI) certificate or eligibility to obtain one
  • Willingness to travel to project locations
