We are seeking motivated and driven individual to join our Construction Administration and Management team. In this role, you will serve as an Assistant Construction Manager, playing a pivotal part in the successful completion of construction projects that include utility infrastructure, water/sewer distribution systems, and roadways. This entry-level position provides a platform for you to strengthen your understanding of construction staff, methods, practices, and programs while working under direct supervision. Your adept planning, coordination, and management skills will be instrumental in ensuring the predictability and accountability of our construction projects, making this role a valuable step towards a rewarding career in construction management.
Job Responsibility:
Inspecting basic construction work
Coordinating schedules
Verifying projects are completed per the project documents
Gaining knowledge in reading plans and specifications
Receiving guidance from senior staff in assembling technical reports and calculations
Gathering project information
Reviewing work progress
Preparing comprehensive construction progress reports
Traveling to various job sites at different stages of construction
Working in all types of terrain and weather conditions
Requirements:
Strong communication skills
Ability to contribute and work well on a team
Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or another applicable field
The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
Valid driver's license with clean driving history
Willingness to work a flexible schedule
Nice to have:
OSHA 10 preferred, but not required
