Visionary and experienced Enterprise Architect to lead the strategic design and evolution of retail technology ecosystem including loyalty engines, ecommerce engines, content management systems, digital asset management systems, mobile apps, websites, personalization engines, recommendation engines, customer data platforms, master data platforms, in-store digital screens, ERP, HRMS, and POS.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop and maintain the enterprise architectural blueprint, roadmaps, and standards
  • Collaborate with business leaders and IT teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Establish and enforce architectural principles and governance processes
  • Manage the enterprise application and technology portfolio
  • Act as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend their adoption
  • Mentor and guide solution architects and development teams

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, system analysis or a related study, or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years of experience in IT
  • 3–5 years in enterprise or solution architecture roles
  • Exposure to multiple, diverse technologies, platforms, and processing environments
  • Deep understanding of retail operations and technologies including e-commerce, POS, inventory management, supply chain, and customer engagement
  • Good understanding of product management, agile principles and development methodologies
  • Experience developing architecture blueprints, strategies, and roadmaps
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills

Nice to have:

  • Experience in developing and implementing enterprise architecture frameworks and methodologies (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman)
  • Experience working in the retail or convenience store industry, preferably with a global brand like Circle K
  • Understanding of security, data privacy, and compliance standards (e.g., PCI-DSS, GDPR)
