I’m currently looking for an Engineering Team Lead – an experienced backend developer in Python who can lead a team, scale systems, and make key technical decisions that balance immediate product impact with a long-term architectural vision.

Job Responsibility:

  • Leading a distributed team as a "playing coach," setting a high bar for delivery, task decomposition, and estimation
  • Shaping our OLAP analytics solution (ClickHouse), delivering industry-leading mobile app performance metrics used by clients to make critical business decisions
  • Developing revenue growth tools, including A/B testing, onboarding, paywalls, and placements that drive rapid mobile app growth
  • Building a next-gen Flow Builder – a WYSIWYG tool for app onboarding and paywalls that dramatically speeds up idea validation for our clients
  • Making smart technical decisions quickly, balancing user impact with long-term architectural goals

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience building backend systems using Python, PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, and Kafka
  • Strong ability to translate product requirements into clear technical designs, with hands-on experience in unit, integration, and end-to-end testing
  • Critical thinking and a system-level mindset: balancing short-term goals with long-term vision, identifying root causes, and making thoughtful, collaborative decisions
