Job Description:

Engineering Supervisor position at Marriott Executive Apartments City Center Doha responsible for maintenance operations, guest repair requests, and property upkeep in a hotel environment

Job Responsibility:

Respond and attend to guest repair requests
Communicate with guests/customers to resolve maintenance issues
Perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment
Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines
Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies
Communicate daily activities and problems to other shifts
Display knowledge of building systems, emergency response, and building documentation
Perform complex repairs of physical property, electrical, plumbing and mechanical equipment
Perform routine inspections of entire property
Inspect and repair all mechanical equipment including appliances, HVAC, electrical and plumbing components
Use Lockout/Tagout system
Display knowledge of maintenance contracts and vendors
Use engineering computer programs for preventative maintenance and energy management
Perform advanced troubleshooting of hotel MEP systems
Train and mentor other engineers
Perform Engineer on Duty responsibilities including readings and rounds

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
Certificate in two-year technical diploma program for HVAC/refrigeration
Extensive experience and training in general maintenance (advanced repairs), electrical or refrigeration
Exterior and interior surface preparation and painting experience
At least 2 years of hotel engineering/maintenance experience
Valid Driver's License
License or certification in refrigeration or electrical (earned or currently working towards)
Universal Chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) certification
Must meet applicable state and federal certification and/or licensing requirements
