Within the Engineering Project team, your responsibilities will be the management of engineering activities, customer requirements analysis and helicopter configurations definition in connection with various customization offers for the Japanese domestic market and Asia-Pacific region.
Job Responsibility:
Management of customization engineering aspects (for offers and projects)
Assessment of technical specifications and compliance matrix
Definition of design specification and feasibility studies
Definition of offer quotation for engineering aspects
Management of Airbus Helicopters, Customer Support, Marketing, Design Office and Supplier interfaces
Management of customisation solution development, design reviews, testing and certification
Requirements:
Educated to an Engineering Degree or Equivalent
Minimum of five years of work experience in technical project management - preferably in aerospace
Understanding of helicopters general architecture and subsystems (airframe, radio-com-nav, vehicle, electrical,…)
Understanding of general airworthiness, safety and design requirements
Ability to translate customer requirements into engineering solutions
Ability to interface with engineering teams and discuss complex technical matters clearly and simply
Good communication skills - ability to work with different cultures
This position requires a great deal of flexibility, rigorous organization and autonomy
