Job Description:

As an Engineering Manager, you'll combine strong technical decision-making with strategic thinking and business acumen. We're looking for someone highly motivated, adaptable, and ready to grow with the business. You’ll lead by example, mentoring and developing talent, fostering effective communication, and driving continuous improvement across teams. If you’re passionate about solving complex problems and shaping the future of engineering, we’d love to hear from you.

Job Responsibility:

  • Architect and design distributed systems ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance
  • Implement modern engineering practices such as microservices, domain-driven design, and event-driven architecture
  • Oversee code quality, maintainability, and adherence to best practices through rigorous code reviews and continuous integration/deployment (CI/CD)
  • Drive adoption of cutting-edge technologies and frameworks to improve delivery and system performance
  • Build and lead high-performing engineering teams, including offshore and onshore resources
  • Develop and implement an Engineering Competency Matrix to set clear expectations and support career growth
  • Mentor engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence
  • Ensure timely delivery of business value through agile methodologies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Data, Operations) to align technical solutions with strategic goals
  • Manage IT operations including DevOps, application support, and security to maintain system integrity and compliance

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • Certified Scrum Master or equivalent Agile certification (preferred)
  • Proven track record in software development management and solution architecture
  • Minimum 8+ years in engineering roles, with at least 3 years in leadership positions
  • Experience in building scalable systems and integrating multiple microservices
  • Strong background in cloud infrastructure (AWS) and DevOps practices
  • Demonstrated success in implementing engineering standards and improving delivery processes
  • Technical Competencies: Languages & Frameworks: PHP, .NET C#, Java, JavaScript (ReactJS, ReactNative), Python
  • Architecture & Design: Microservices, Event-Driven Design, Domain-Driven Design
  • Tools & Platforms: AWS, Docker, EventBridge, CircleCI, SonarCloud, Jira
  • Data & Integration: SQL, MySQL, MSSQL, Data Warehousing, API design (OpenAPI)
  • Methodologies: Agile, CI/CD, Test Automation
