The ChatGPT Atlas engineering team is focused on extending the functionality & reach of the ChatGPT Atlas app to new use cases & platforms. Our vision is to create a world class web browser with ChatGPT at its core, helping you get stuff done as you move across the web. With Atlas, ChatGPT can come with you anywhere across the web; helping you in the window right where you are, understanding what you’re trying to do, and completing tasks for you, all without copying and pasting or leaving the page. We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead a major part of the Atlas browser engineering team. In this role, you will help build and scale a world-class engineering team, drive the execution of complex cross-functional projects, and contribute to the long-term strategy of transforming Atlas into people’s browser of choice. You will play a critical role in managing the team, ensuring product quality and reliability, and establishing processes that foster collaboration and efficiency.

Job Responsibility:

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience managing engineering teams in a high-performance, fast-paced environment
  • 5+ years of experience building and operating distributed systems at scale OR 5+ years of experience building installed/native apps at scale
  • strong track record of leading world-class teams and delivering impactful projects
