As an Engineering Manager, you’ll play a key role in building, growing, and leading the talents that are responsible for developing innovative features for our B2B and B2C customers. You’ll be responsible for a group of talented and high-performing engineering team composed of front-end and back-end engineers, to deliver highly scalable, innovative, stable, and secure solutions. You’ll also have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies, including confidential computing platforms, to keep Dashlane ahead of the curve.

Job Responsibility:

  • Build a strong ownership and accountability culture within your team
  • Help your direct reports grow and develop as managers, leaders, engineers, and teammates
  • Recruit new software engineers, and participate in Dashlane’s effort to be visible in the tech community in Paris
  • Support your team and make them autonomous by giving them all the appropriate tools they need to deliver without friction
  • Lead managerial initiatives to improve our current systems and processes in support of the company’s mission
  • Deliver Engineering strategy goals and actively contribute to shaping roadmaps and technical initiatives, including refinement sessions, ADRs, and other technical documents
  • Work closely with product and business stakeholders to deliver on our Product Roadmap
  • Help define the direction of the Product Experience teams to improve the stability, security, and quality of the Dashlane product
  • Work with passionate teams of engineers, product managers, testers, customer support agents, and others in a friendly and multicultural environment

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in software engineering
  • 2+ years of experience in people and project management (ideally in a distributed environment)
  • Fluency in English

Nice to have:

  • Javascript/Typescript experience
  • Experience with a company at roughly Dashlane's size and scaling up (100-500 employees)
  • Experience working in a distributed team across multiple timezones
  • You have a BS in Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Management, or similar relevant field
