Job Description:

Strategic professional who stays abreast of developments within own field and contributes to directional strategy. Recognized technical authority for an area within the business. Provides advice and counsel related to the technology or operations of the business.

Job Responsibility:

Execute and drive results on large-scale efforts or multiple smaller efforts
Serve as development lead for medium and large projects
Provide architectural guidance and conduct design reviews
Mentor and coach SDEs and their teams
Drive design reviews for Next Gen Architecture and Plan of Record projects
Publish design patterns across lines of business
Participate in micro services and NGA code reviews
Ensure principles and best practices are followed
Communicate risks to business owners
Remove blockers and find path forward in challenging situations

Requirements:

6-10 years of relevant experience in an Apps Development role or senior level experience in an Enterprise Architecture role
Subject matter expert in one or more areas
Expertise in all aspects of technology with understanding of broader patterns and techniques
Experience with Citi's internal and external cloud platforms (AWS, PCF, Akamai)
Advanced knowledge of algorithms, data structures, distributed systems, networking
Knowledge on automating code quality, code performance, unit testing, and build processing in CI/CD
2 years minimum experience in JAVA, Spring Boot, and Cloud Computing
Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred

Nice to have:

Master's degree
Financial industry skills (AWS PWS)
Knowledge of NGA technology
