Job Description:

Olsson offers clients a full spectrum of water resources services, including planning, design, permitting, and construction phase services. As a summer 2026 engineering student intern with our Water Resources team, you will perform meaningful, hands-on, real-world work that will transform your classroom experience and help you envision your future career.

Job Responsibility:

  • Perform hydrologic and hydraulic analysis for stormwater and flood control management, floodplain management, and scour and erosion control
  • Provide project design utilizing AutoCAD and ArcGIS Pro
  • Assist with performing technical analysis, research, and writing technical reports
  • Potentially travel to job sites for field observation

Requirements:

  • Pursuing a bachelor's degree in engineering (civil engineering preferred)
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD and GIS preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to contribute and work well on a team
