Job Description:

Checkr is building a data platform to power safe and fair decisions, helping customers assess risk and ensure safety and compliance. The internship focuses on infrastructure/SRE engineering projects, addressing complex system issues, leveraging AI, and improving system scalability.

Job Responsibility:

Work on high-value engineering projects that will deliver real-world impact
Leverage AI as a productivity enhancer to improve issue visibility, increase system resiliency, and create powerful tools
Deliver AI-integrated solutions

Requirements:

Engineering awareness in the Infrastructure/SRE space
Familiarity with Kubernetes and Linux
Enthusiasm and interest in AI
Interest in observability
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and pride in your work
Self-awareness and a desire to better yourself
Curiosity about how and why things work
Recently completed or are graduating in Spring 2025 with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI/ML, or a related field
