Job Description:

We are looking for organized and driven Engineering Coordinators to join our semiconductor projects! You will be responsible for supporting our various clients’ internal departments by functioning as a project leader by coordinating, designing, and documenting equipment installations, remodels, site improvements and renovations in coordination with facilities engineers.

Job Responsibility:

  • Completes all required safety training and conducts all work in accordance with safety policies
  • Stops work for safety if unsafe conditions and/or behaviors are identified
  • Utilizes and reviews job hazard analysis (JHA/JSA) for work being performed
  • Follows all safety and environmental procedures to ensure compliance with applicable regulations including PPE, CoHE (lockout/tagout) and chemical safety
  • Follows-up on safety and quality related issues immediately and works towards resolution with stakeholders
  • Actively participates in the EHS program by reporting all EHS-related concerns or problems immediately (maximum 24 hours)
  • Performs and facilitates audits and submits good catches
  • Always wears appropriate PPE, per JHA, Supervisor, EHS professionals, and/or job designation
  • Proactively identifies opportunities to reduce potential hazards which may impact personnel health and/or the environment
  • Uses proper lifting techniques and works in an ergonomically correct manner
  • Follows proper change management practices to ensure safety and quality expectations are met
  • Leads quality improvement initiatives in their area of expertise to reduce Fab impacts, improve efficiency and drive cost savings
  • Reviews designs as assigned to ensure they are within manufacturers and company guidelines to ensure safety and quality expectations are met
  • Owns content of construction specifications, design standards and design checklists that ensure quality, efficiency and safe work
  • Ensures specifications, standard and checklists are aligned with corporate guidelines
  • Leads system troubleshooting efforts when requested
  • Leads lessons learned type activities per area of expertise
  • Uses a systematic project management methodology to develop, prioritize and manage projects
  • Manages projects to ensure deliverables are completed within the required scope, schedule and budget
  • Tracks actions and provides escalation path or resources to ensure actions will be completed on time
  • Defines and leads complex, multi-disciplinary projects of critical importance to the client
  • Ensures regular communication to stakeholders of project status, roadblocks, and path to success
  • Prepares project scope and ensures necessary input from appropriate stakeholders

  • Uses administrative and engineering databases/applications as necessary

  • Demonstrated ability to identify, develop, propose, and implement effective plans to improve overall efficiency

  • Strong partnering, negotiation, and team-working skills with team members from different disciplines
  • Proven ability to communicate and present technical information effectively to all audiences
  • 5+ years of experience in Facilities, Semiconductor Manufacturing-related drafting/design work and experience in coordinating multi-disciplinary teams preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in a Technical discipline or appropriate Certification/Licensing (Drafting or Design or equivalent area of study)
