Propel your career with Seaspan Shipyards! We are currently recruiting 4 engineering graduates to join our Graduate Rotation Program commencing in September 2026. In this two-year program you will gain meaningful work experience, mentorship, and targeted training across a range of business areas within the company, working in a diverse and collaborative environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Rotate through the following discipline areas within our Vancouver Shipyard operations: Engineering
  • Program Management
  • Planning and Estimating
  • Production Support
  • In each discipline area, you will spend 3 – 6 months training and developing new skills, while contributing to state-of-the-art shipbuilding projects

Requirements:

  • Recently completed (within 2 years) an Undergraduate or Graduate Degree in Naval Architecture, Marine, Electrical, Mechanical, Systems Engineering or other relevant engineering subject
  • Registration as an Engineer-In-Training with EGBC, or ability to attain
  • Proven track record of both strong academic and extracurricular achievements
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint and experience with computer aided drawing/modelling tools
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities and timelines
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including written, verbal, listening and presentation
  • Strong research, problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and high level of attention to detail
  • Ability to take initiative, ownership and drive tasks to completion
