Amentum is seeking a dynamic and innovative Electromagnetic Warfare Planner to provide research, analysis, and planning support to the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command (USINDOPACOM) Operations Directorate as part of a Joint Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations Cell supporting U.S. Pacific Fleet (PACFLT) at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii.
Job Responsibility:
Provide assistance to senior-level strategic planning and briefings, including preparing formal papers and background information for USINDOPACOM and PACFLT senior leader consumption
Provide research and analysis of various EW related national security policies, military strategies, and capability integration that support USINDOPACOM operations and exercises with a specific focus on PACFLT related operations
Utilize experience and knowledge to support Joint Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (JEMSO) focused on PACFLT operations that will ensure freedom of action and mission assurance in all domains throughout the Indo-Pacific
Support the integration and application of AI/LM tools to enhance data analysis, reporting accuracy, and operational insights
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree, In lieu of degree, at least 10 years’ of combined experience in Electromagnetic Warfare (EW) operations, capability development and/or policy
At least 3 years of experience at a Combatant Command, Service Component or equivalent HQ
At least 3 years of experience in the Indo-Pacific Area of Operations
Familiar with INDOPACOM Theater Campaign Plan (TCP), Deliberate and Crisis Action Plans, and Operations Plans (OPLANS)
Experience in writing reports, graphics and information papers
Experience analyzing operational data
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Minimum 1 year of experience working with AI or Language Model (LM) tools in system administration, operational planning, or data analysis context
Must have an active Top Secret clearance and be SCI eligible. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a Top-Secret Clearance.
Nice to have:
Master's Degree and/or attendance at Service Command and General Staff College
Background in U.S. Navy JEMSO operations in the air domain
Experience coordinating with other Department of Defense (DoD) entities, including the Joint Staff, the Office of the Secretary of Defense and INDOPACOM's Service Components as well as non-DoD organizations such as DHS and State Department
Graduate of Joint Electronic Warfare Theater Operations Course
Familiar with JEMSO applications and databases (FADE/MIST, CED, etc.)
