Essity is looking for an experienced Electrical Instrumentation Journeyman. The Electrical Instrumentation Journeyman is responsible for defined maintenance activities in the production site. The role maintains the machines based on preventive and predictive maintenance concept. It is responsible for troubleshooting technical problems and solving these problems using the Daily Direction Setting approach & Root Cause Analysis. The technician supports and coaches the Operators / Colleagues in handling technical issues in the Resource Support Teams/Asset Teams and Site.
Job Responsibility:
Responsible for defined maintenance activities in the production site
Maintains the machines based on preventive and predictive maintenance concept
Responsible for troubleshooting technical problems and solving these problems using the Daily Direction Setting approach & Root Cause Analysis
Supports and coaches the Operators / Colleagues in handling technical issues in the Resource Support Teams/Asset Teams and Site
Work with operations, engineering, contractors, vendors, and other maintenance resources to support a 24/7 paper manufacturing operation with Tissue Machines, de-ink plant and water treatment facilities
Respond to critical requests for support site-wide and in specific areas
Gain "Center of Excellence" knowledge on specific technologies in our facility and share that knowledge with others as needed
Perform troubleshooting on site using Ethernet and logic controls interface tools
Identify improvement ability for critical instrumentation
Support and troubleshoot operating motors, drives, and other logic-controlled variable effort equipment
Support and lead capital project teams when necessary including lower-level technicians, contractors, and peers
Develop and Mentor apprentices in specific trade areas
Requirements:
HSED or Diploma required
Journeyman Industrial Electrician Card
Journeyman Industrial Electrician or E/I Technician with State Indentured apprenticeship
Work experience applying those skills in a manufacturing setting
Must be able and willing to work possible 12 hour shifts along with Overtime, weekends, days or nights
