Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Component Engineer to work closely with R&D and Procurement to help in the selection, qualification, and management of components used in our products. The ideal candidate should have a sound knowledge in electric/electronics application and a keen eye for detail to ensure the reliability and performance of components in our products.

Job Responsibility:

  • Select appropriate components (electronics/electrical) for various applications
  • work with R&D, sustaining engineering team or vendors to drive for failure analysis and debug due to component related issues
  • help to classify parts, create Manufacturing orders and new HPPNs as necessary

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, or other Engineering
  • Typically 0-2 years experience
  • understanding of appropriate engineering tools and software packages
  • Good analytical and problem solving skills
  • Basic understanding of electronics and electrical design
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • mastery in English and local language
  • Good interpersonel skills
