Contractual role through manpower agency. Shift-based work including night shifts, weekends, and holidays as per production requirements.
Job Responsibility:
Perform preventive, breakdown, and corrective maintenance of electrical systems and equipment
Diagnose and rectify electrical faults in production machines such as winding machines, molding machines, assembly lines, testing stations, and conveyors
Attend to breakdowns promptly to minimize downtime and ensure production continuity
Maintain and troubleshoot PLC-based machines, control panels, VFDs, servo drives, sensors, relays, contactors, timers, and HMIs
Handle electrical systems including LT panels, MCC panels, DBs, transformers, and power distribution systems
Support maintenance of ESD systems critical for ECU manufacturing
Execute planned preventive maintenance (PPM) as per schedule and update maintenance records
Identify potential electrical failures and take proactive corrective actions
Follow all electrical safety norms, lockout–tagout (LOTO) procedures, and company safety policies
Ensure compliance with statutory electrical requirements and audit readiness
Maintain proper housekeeping in electrical panels and maintenance areas
Maintain breakdown, preventive maintenance, and spare usage records
Coordinate with production, quality, and engineering teams during machine repairs and modifications
Support installation, commissioning, and modification of new machines or electrical systems
Requirements:
BE / Diploma in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering
2–5 years of experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in auto component or electronics manufacturing
Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems and controls
Basic understanding of PLCs (Siemens / Mitsubishi / Omron preferred)
Knowledge of VFDs, sensors, encoders, and safety circuits
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Nice to have:
Exposure to IG Coil, VTC, ECU, or similar precision component manufacturing is an added advantage
