Job Description:

The EIT Administrator provides basic and mid-level support for operational systems. Participates in the requirements development for applying business needs to infrastructure solutions and/or application configuration. May be involved with various aspects of the requirements design process, defining and documenting internal and external user interfaces and supporting system and data requirement clarification and definition. May also support prototyping activities that will validate business requirements, solution definition and minimize risk.

Job Responsibility:

  • Administer Toro’s server infrastructure virtualization technologies (VMware/Nutanix) and Guest Operating Systems (Windows, UNIX and Linux) and their related hardware)
  • Administer Toro's storage and backup infrastructure
  • Active Directory administration and support
  • Perform regular monitoring to identify any issues that could cause performance problems
  • Research and recommend automated approaches for system administration tasks
  • Maintain, troubleshoot and manage our server environment for high performance and stability
  • Apply OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis, and upgrade administrative tools and utilities
  • Configure / add new services as necessary
  • Analyze servers for system usage, capacity and performance

Requirements:

  • Systems Administrator I-Bachelors degree with 0 years experience or Associates with 2+ years experience
  • Systems Administrator II-Bachelors degree with 2+ years experience or Associates with 5+ years experience
  • Must be familiar with system scope and project objectives, as well as the role and function of each team member to effectively coordinate the activities of the team
  • Success in leading small projects
  • Knowledge of system development life cycle
  • Ability to lead small teams
  • Ability to effectively communicate and work with other team member to develop system requirements
  • Must be located within 60 miles of Perry, Oklahoma
