Job Description:

We are seeking an EHS Technician with a strong background in chemicals and/or safety management, ideally within a manufacturing environment (machining, aerospace, automotive). Warehousing experience is also acceptable. The ideal candidate has at least 2+ years of experience in environmental health and safety practices and thrives in a hands-on role.

Job Responsibility:

  • Perform chemical waste auditing and disposal in compliance with safety standards
  • Clear blockers and ensure accessibility to safety-specific equipment
  • Support replacement and proper deployment of hazardous waste receptacles
  • Operate a forklift occasionally for major waste or chemical movement
  • Execute deploy and put-away activities for hazardous chemicals
  • Assist in revising and deploying updated job safety assessments
  • Collaborate with manufacturing teams on general shop organization to improve egress, ingress, and accessibility across the program

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in chemical safety management or EHS-related roles
  • Background in manufacturing environments preferred (machining, aerospace, automotive)

  • Knowledge of hazardous material handling and disposal
  • Ability to operate a forklift (certification preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety compliance
