This role will be onsite working in a hybrid work format, with a requirement to be in the corporate office in Lexington, KY. This is a 12 week on-site internship from May-August and will need to sit in Lexington, KY.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support Valvoline’s Corporate EHS Team through program and related tools development and implementation (LOTO equipment specific procedures, Ergonomic assessments, EHS internal audit protocol management and online safety management systems)
  • Contribute to EHS dashboards and performance reports used to track corporate program progress
  • Support key projects and initiatives in Environmental, Health and Safety
  • Help support site compliance by updating EHS programs, procedures, trainings, and tools
  • Engage employees in programs that promote Valvoline’s culture of EHS continuous improvements
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned to support ongoing EHS compliance initiatives

Requirements:

  • A detail-oriented mindset with a passion for problem-solving and critical thinking
  • In your collegiate sophomore year or higher pursuing, a degree in the Environmental Health and Safety field (Environmental Science, Health Science, Occupational Safety and Health, etc.)
  • Familiarity with EHS regulations
  • Proficiency with MS Office tools
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to develop training and communications
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • May require up to 15% travel within the United States
