ECMO Primer

Baptist Health is seeking to add an ECMO Primer to our Wolfson Children's Hospital. This is a full-time, night shift opportunity. At Baptist Health, an ECMO Specialist is responsible for providing advanced life support to critically ill patients requiring extracorporeal assistance. This role involves assembling, wet priming, and blood priming the ECMO circuit, administering medications per policy, assisting physicians during procedures, and managing the setup, monitoring, and troubleshooting of ECMO and related support technologies. The ECMO Specialist collaborates closely with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, effective, and high-quality patient care.
