As a DTC Video Editor, you will be responsible for transforming raw footage, user generated content (UGC) submissions, brand assets, and scripts into high-impact, conversion-focused ads for Meta, TikTok, YouTube, Amazon DSP, email campaigns, and website placements. This role requires a powerful blend of storytelling, design, and performance marketing, ensuring every asset you produce is optimized to stop the scroll, drive engagement, and convert. You will collaborate closely with DTC Strategists, UGC Creators, Designers, Paid Media Specialists, and Project Managers to deliver high-volume creative on tight deadlines, all while maintaining MAG’s world-class quality standards.
Job Responsibility:
Edit high-performing video ads for Meta, TikTok, YouTube, Amazon DSP, and other acquisition channels
Produce multiple creative variations for A/B testing (hooks, CTAs, pacing, captions, formats)
Incorporate brand typography, motion graphics, sound design, and on-screen captions
Repurpose and reformat creative into various aspect ratios (9:16, 1:1, 16:9)
Build dynamic ad iterations influenced by performance insights (CTR, thumb-stop, CVR)
Edit UGC content, product demos, testimonial videos, and creator submissions
Ensure deliverables are optimized for platform quality, file format, and resolution
Partner with DTC Strategists to interpret creative briefs, ad frameworks, and storyboards
Work with UGC creators and internal teams to assemble raw content into polished ads
Participate in ideation, presenting creative suggestions backed by marketing insights
Maintain creative consistency and brand adherence across all clients and assets
Review weekly ad performance reports with Strategists and Paid Media Specialists
Implement creative learnings, such as pacing adjustments and stronger opening hooks
Rapidly produce test-ready versions to support scaling campaigns
Create modular, template-driven projects for efficient output and asset consistency
Manage multiple clients and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Maintain organized file structures, folder systems, and naming conventions
Upload final assets to client drives and communicate status updates to Project Managers
Track deliverables, revisions, and creative requests using tools like Airtable, Asana, or Notion
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Video Editor with strong performance-ad portfolio (Meta/TikTok/YT)
Proficiency in editing tools: Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, Final Cut Pro, etc.
Experience in creating DTC, UGC, or e-commerce-focused video ads
Ability to understand marketing metrics and translate them into creative decisions
Skilled in typography, motion graphics, color grading, pacing, and sound design
Knowledge of Airtable, Asana, or Notion for project management
Strong communication, adaptability, and team collaboration
Thrives in high-pressure, high-output creative environments
A computer with dual monitor setup is required
Computer with at least 8GB of RAM
Must have at least 25 MBPS internet speed
