Driver

As a driver at Albert Heijn, you’ll start with three training trips. During these trips, you’ll learn how to use all the systems and will be ready to work independently afterward. Your buddy will teach you how to work efficiently, so you can deliver all groceries on time. Besides delivering groceries, you’ll also collect empty bottles and crates, which you’ll carefully reconcile on the invoice. You’ll handle these transactions using a payment terminal. While driving, you might face various challenges. For example, a flat with no elevator or a house number that’s hard to find. These challenges make your workday exciting and diverse. Ready for the next step? You can follow internal training to become a buddy or a senior courier (“plusser”).
