Requirements

Proven experience in heavy equipment operation is essential, including familiarity with Caterpillar machinery
Commercial driving experience is required
a valid commercial driver’s license is preferred
Previous construction site experience is highly desirable, with skills in paving and tanker operations being an asset
Knowledge of hydrovac operations and safety protocols is a plus
Experience working with various types of excavation equipment such as graders and water trucks will be beneficial

Job Responsibility

Operate hydrovac trucks and associated equipment for excavation tasks
Ensure the safe operation of heavy machinery including but not limited to excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, dump trucks, graders, and water trucks
Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment to ensure they are in safe working condition
Collaborate with team members to execute excavation projects efficiently and effectively
Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with safety regulations
Assist with horizontal drilling operations as needed
Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance
