Job Description:

Our client, a leading mechanical and electrical contractor based in London Bridge, is looking for a proactive and dedicated Document Controller to join their team. As a Document Controller, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of projects. Job Responsibility:

Oversee the organisation, storage, and retrieval of all CAD drawings and documents
Maintain version control and ensure compliance with industry standards and ISO protocols
Collaborate with the Design Manager to produce project-specific drawing trackers
Foster strong working relationships with clients, design teams, and project managers
Facilitate timely exchanges of CAD files and documentation
Conduct regular audits to verify the accuracy and completeness of CAD documents

Requirements:

A degree-level education and proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
Experience with industry-specific software like Conject, Procore, Aconex, or similar
A highly organised and methodical approach to tasks
The ability to work independently and under pressure while meeting tight deadlines
Strong attention to detail and adherence to protocols
Excellent communication skills, with a clear and professional style
