Job Description:

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Document Controller to join our dynamic team based in Battersea. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the smooth management and control of project documentation across multiple sites, with occasional travel to other London locations.

Job Responsibility:

Manage and maintain project documentation using established systems and protocols
Ensure all documents are correctly filed, version-controlled, and easily accessible
Liaise with project managers, engineers, and site teams to ensure timely document updates
Support the coordination of drawings, specifications, and other technical documents
Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with document control procedures
Assist in the preparation of reports and documentation for meetings and reviews
Provide training and support to team members on document control systems

Requirements:

Proven experience in a document control role, ideally within construction or engineering
Strong understanding of document management systems (e.g., Aconex, Asite, SharePoint)
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving
Willingness to travel to other London sites as required
