Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Divisional/Plant Controller to join our team in Providence, Rhode Island. This is a Contract position within a growing manufacturing organization, offering a unique opportunity to contribute to financial operations and management. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in cost accounting and financial reporting to drive accurate and timely results.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead month-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
  • Manage manufacturing cost accounting functions, including the analysis and allocation of costs
  • Oversee cost accounting activities to support operational and strategic decision-making
  • Prepare and present financial reports detailing revenue, expenses, and projections
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure adherence to accounting standards and practices
  • Utilize QuickBooks software to maintain and analyze financial records effectively
  • Participate in quarterly financial reviews and provide insights to support organizational goals
  • Ensure compliance with defense contractor requirements and regulations
