Job Description:

Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago and the Department of Pediatrics at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine seek a full-time, board-certified pediatrician to serve as Division Head of Advanced General Pediatrics and Primary Care (AGP). The Division Head will lead all aspects of the division’s clinical care, research, education, advocacy, and administration.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead all aspects of the division’s clinical care, research, education, advocacy, and administration
  • Provide strategic, financial, and operational direction
  • Oversee budgeting, staff management, patient services
  • Provide oversight of key clinical programs including Primary Care, Resident Continuity Clinics, Weight & Wellness

Requirements:

  • Board-certified pediatrician
  • Proven record as a problem solver
  • Ability to implement innovative solutions
  • Demonstrated leadership in clinical care
  • Development of research and/or administration
  • Strong clinical expertise
  • Proven track record of research within the field of Advanced General Pediatrics and Primary Care
