Job Description:

Join Gressingham Duck as a Dispatch Operative Day Shift. Shift patterns work around your lifestyle, you’ll benefit from ongoing training, and you’ll play a key role in ensuring Britain’s favourite duck reaches customers fresh, safe, and on time.

Job Responsibility:

  • Coordinate with the management team to ensure orders are picked and dispatched accurately and on time
  • Monitor and log product quality checks: dates, temperatures, correct cold-chain handling
  • Check products are correctly dated
  • Check products are at the correct temperature
  • Conduct inspections on Forklift, Pallet Truck & Pivot Steer Trucks daily
  • Comply with all Health & Safety protocols and company policies
  • Any other duties required connected with poultry processing

Requirements:

  • Valid Forklift and pallet truck licence (or willingness to train onsite)
  • A keen eye for accuracy and cleanliness
  • A positive, team oriented attitude
  • Zero to minimal experience needed
  • Own transport essential
