Job Description:

We are currently seeking a Dispatch Co-Ordinator to join our team at Breedon Tile. As a Dispatch Co-Ordinator you will be responsible for effectively and efficiently controlling customer orders, coordinating and allocating transport, booking out products, implementing safe site access procedures. You will also coordinate sales outputs with site management along with goods inwards and depot activity.

Job Responsibility:

  • Schedule deliveries for UK, NI & ROI hauliers
  • Co-ordinate orders to be dispatched and organise picking lists for yard operatives accordingly
  • Understand lorry capacity and manage balance orders
  • Check payments to hauliers
  • Process third party shipments (couriering goods, Parcelforce)
  • Process customs clearance
  • Maintain haulage rates (including LSS & FSC Charges) using Breedon internal systems
  • Resolve customer queries regarding deliveries
  • Monitor stock availability
  • Dealing with customer sales – in person and on the phone
  • Operating on site weighbridge
  • Produce daily reports on dispatch metrics
  • To comply with the Company Health, Safety and Environmental policies and procedures
  • To undertake any other reasonable duties as required

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years experience in a busy dispatch role
  • Experience within a manufacturing or construction environment would be desirable
  • Experience in using MS Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Previous experience working with a computerised order processing and dispatch system would be desirable
